The 2008-2009 patrolling season is nearly upon us and Clubs, Services and Branch Officers are busy preparing rosters, finalising Lifesaving Service Agreements, preparing for Gear Inspection, Calendars etc in readiness for the new season. 

Sydney Branch takes this opportunity to congratulate Sydneys Lifesavers on fulfilling their requirements for the past season.  Sydney Branch Lifesavers performed a total of 2954 rescues, 4227 First Aids and 33472 preventative actions. 

Reminders & Important Dates for Start of Season

• Saturday 6th September 2008  Lifesaving Conference for Club/Service Captains & Chief Training Officers, Maroubra SLSC  9.00 am (refer to Circular No. 16/08-09 for further information and the agenda)

•  PATROLS COMMENCE - Saturday 27th September 2008

• PATROLS FINISH - Sunday 26th April 2009

• Saturday 13th September 2008  (Cronulla Sutherland/RNP)

• Sunday 14th September 2008 (Randwick/Waverley)
