Each season it is a requirement of all members wishing to participate in SLSS SOG service/s (Surfcom, RWC or ORB, Duty Officer) to complete a Support Operations Group Member Application Form.

Completed forms are required back at the Branch office before COB Thursday 2nd September 2010.

Expressions of interest are now being sought from suitable qualified and experienced members to be appointed as Duty Officers for SLSS.  Duty Officer appointments are for a 2 season period. 

There are 8 positions for Duty Officers - 2 per District.

SLS NSW Circular 3171 details information of a forum for young people in emergency services aged between 16 and 25 years, focusing on volunteer trends, recruitment and retention of young volunteers.
SLS NSW is able to nominate 15 young volunteers, who are active in emergency services and who have a genuine enthusiasm, commitment to and interest in volunteering to apply.

Applications close at the Branch office by Friday 16th July 2010.  

Applications will be forwarded to SLS NSW for their consideration by 21st July.
