3 Year Lifesaving Service Agreements 2010-13

The Branch office has today (22nd June 2010), emailed and mailed to Clubs there 3 Year Lifesaving Service Agreements 2010-2013.

  • Clubs wishing to apply for a variance to this agreement must do so in writing to Branch office by 8th July 2010 (no late applications will be considered). The required form for this application is attached to SLSS Circular 01/10-11

  • All Clubs & Services to have their signed agreements at Branch office by 2nd August 2010

  • Any special variances agreed by Clubs and Branch are to be sent to SLS NSW by 16th August 2010

  • Branch to forward all signed Lifesaving Agreements to SLS NSW by 16th August 2010

  • SLS NSW will reivew and endorse agreements and send copies back to the Branch & Club by 7th September 2010

Expressions of Interest for RWC (Support Ski) Team

Expressions of Interest are now being sought from experienced members who are interested in joining the SOG RWC (Support Ski) Team.

Surfcom Sydney is based at the Lifesaver One Helicopter base at La Perouse – and is currently recruiting new Operators for season 2009/2010.

Members who hold a Rescue Water Craft Operator Certificate award either current or not current are invited to participate in the SLSS SOG RWC Service for the 2009/2010 season.

Support Operations (SOG)

All members wishing to patrol with SLSS SOG services such as Surfcom, RWC, ORB 3, ORB 2 are required to complete a SOG Member Application form each season.

Please note that this form is in addition to your Club Membership application form which must be completed each current season and membership fees paid to your Club.

Completed SOG member application forms for season 2009/2010 should now all be at the Branch office (closing date was 3/9/09). Any SOG service member who has not yet actioned this, please do so immediately.
