Gold Medallion Assessment/Proficiency
Future Gold Medallion assessment dates will be included in the Season 2010/2011 Lifesaving & Education Calendar when published.
Cert II in Aquatic Safety upgrade - if you have not upgraded your Bronze Medallion please complete the upgrade form available at the following link Cert II in Aquatic Safety Upgrade Proficency Paper This form must be sent direct to SLS NSW for processing once completed.
Form 80  SLSA Form 80 Manual Award Data Surfguard this form must be completed and submitted with evidence of any missing awards from your Surfguard award record. Clubs submit this form to Branch who will endorse and send to SLS NSW for processing.

If you are wanting to share your knowledge, skills and experience and become Trainer. The following information is an overview of whats involved.
- Complete 1 Unit of competency TAADEL301C Provide training through instruction and demonstration of work skills by registering and attending the Branch Faciliated scheduled Trainers Courses as per Education Calendar.
- Once you have successfully attended the course and completed all components of the workbook and this has been signed off by the course Facilitator, the Branch office will process your TAADEL301C in Surfguard. The Club is then able to create and submit a Training Officer or Assessor assessment request in Surfguard when you have complete the required minimum of 2 training courses under approved mentor supervision for each award you wish to train.
- All new trainers are required to complete a Trainer Application form for endorsement by the Branch Education Manager. These documents can be found on the SLS NSW Academy website under resources or can be supplied to you from the Branch office upon request.
