SLS SYDNEY EXTREME SHARK DIVE AWARD

This is the opportunity of a lifetime if you've ever wanted to dive with sharks. You will get up close and personal with huge grey nurse sharks, giant stingrays, sea turtles, wobbegong sharks, moray eels and a vast array of marine life. This prize is valued at $235.00, no experience is necessary and all training and equipment will be provided on the day at Ocean World Manly.

This prize is to encourage youth to achieve awards and also teach and/or assist in the teaching of awards to other Club members. The winner of the prize will be the person with the most points. In the case of tie points an interview will be conducted with the candidates to determine an outright winner.

Guidelines for this prize:

• The period to achieve points is from 24th September 2007 to 25 April 2008.

• Candidates are to be aged 15 to 23yrs during this period.

• Point-score: 30 points for successfully achieving an award. 10 points for teaching an award with successful candidates. 5 points for assisting in teaching an award with successful candidates.
