Lifeguard-SLSS Working Together Program 2012

SLS Sydney advises that the Development Program in Association with Randwick City Council for Age Groups U15's to U19's "Working Together Program" will take place during the April School holidays.
This program is about delivering on-gong experience for young lifesavers working with local lifeguards Monday to Friday in the school holidays. Attendees must be a SLSA proficient BM holder with minimum of 20 hours patrol experience.
Program dates are 10th -13th April, 16th - 20th April 2012

Youth Development Update & Meeting Sept 2011

Youth Directors from Clubs are invited to attend a meeting to be held on 13th September 2011 with Doug Hawkins, SLSS Branch Director of Youth Development.
Venue will be confirmed, but this meeting will be an opportunity to meet and discuss what Clubs are looking for from the Branch, considering some current and future development opportunities, look at the different retention models within the Clubs and then implement a program for the upcoming season within the Branch covering lifesaving, development and surf sports.
